Tour Description
Do you want to see other beautiful coastal spots, not just spend your vacation on the beach near your hotel? Do you want to show off stunning photos from a paradise beach? Then this day trip is perfect for you! The highlight of the tour is whale watching in Mirissa.
This excursion includes visits to interesting sights and one of the main attractions in Sri Lanka:
Whale Watching – The period from November to May is the best time for whale watching near Mirissa Beach. During this season, the chance of seeing blue whales is very high.
Wewurukannala Temple – a temple in the small town of Dikwella, whose main attraction is a 38-meter tall statue of Buddha, covered in mosaic and built with donations from local residents. Another interesting feature here is the "Gallery of Sins."
Amanwella Beach – a true coastal gem and a genuinely paradisiacal beach.
Dondra – the southernmost point of Sri Lanka. It is home to an active lighthouse. While climbing the lighthouse is currently prohibited, you don't need to go up to enjoy the stunning, cinematic coastal views.
At Amanwella Beach and Dondra Lighthouse, there will be a short photo session. Afterwards, every adult will receive 5 beautiful, professional photographs.

Pick-up and drop-off are included without extra charge from Mirissa, Weligama, Tangalle, and Dikwella. Pick-up and drop-off from resorts north of Weligama require an additional fee.
