A river safari on the Madu Ganga River (3 hours) – a motorboat ride with visits to small islands. You will see the Kothduwa Buddhist Temple and visit an island with cinnamon plantations. Upon request, a fish massage (fish pedicure) can be arranged. The Madu Ganga River and its banks are home to a variety of wildlife – monitor lizards, small monkey species, squirrels, and small crocodiles. The riverbanks are covered with mangrove forests, crisscrossed by numerous channels. During the safari, you will ride a boat under the canopies of intertwined mangroves.
- A visit to gem mines – here you can take a tour to see how precious stones are mined and processed.
- Turtle Farm – during a guided tour of the farm, you can see all 6 species of sea turtles found in Sri Lanka, touch baby turtles, and take photos.
- A walk through Galle Fort.
